Meet the Pitmaster

Pitmaster Jake 'Smokehouse' Reynolds grew up tending fires alongside his grandfather in the Texas Hill Country. After winning three state championships, he opened Smokestack BBQ to share his family's century-old smoking traditions with the world. Every cut is rubbed by hand, smoked low and slow, and served with love.

Common Questions

Yes! We smoke a set amount each day and when it's gone, it's gone. We recommend arriving before 1 PM on weekends to ensure you get your favorites. Follow us on social media for daily sold-out updates.
Absolutely! We offer catering and family packs for groups of any size. Place your order at least 48 hours in advance for the best selection. We cater weddings, corporate events, and parties.
We primarily use post oak for brisket and a blend of hickory and cherry for pork and poultry. All our wood is locally sourced and naturally seasoned — no gas or electric shortcuts here.
While we're a meat-focused joint, we have fantastic sides including mac & cheese, coleslaw, baked beans, cornbread, and seasonal vegetables. Our smoked portobello sandwich is also a hit!
Every one of our five sauces is made in-house from scratch: Original, Spicy, Vinegar, Mustard, and our award-winning Sweet Heat. We also sell bottles to take home.
