FAQ

Common Questions

Everything you need to know about our CNC machining services, capabilities, and process.

We machine a wide range of materials including aluminum alloys (6061, 7075, 2024), stainless steels (303, 304, 316, 17-4PH), carbon steel, titanium (Grade 2, Grade 5), brass, copper, plastics (Delrin, PEEK, Ultem, Nylon), and exotic alloys (Inconel, Hastelloy). Contact us for specific material inquiries.
Standard tolerances are +/-0.005". For precision work, we routinely hold +/-0.001" and can achieve +/-0.0005" on critical dimensions. Our CMM-verified inspection ensures every part meets your specifications.
Prototype parts typically ship in 5-7 business days. Production runs depend on quantity and complexity — most orders ship within 2-4 weeks. We offer expedited services for rush orders with 24-48 hour turnaround available.
Yes. Our engineering team offers comprehensive DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis at no charge. We review your CAD files, suggest improvements to reduce cost and improve quality, and provide material selection guidance.
We accept STEP, IGES, SolidWorks (.sldprt), Parasolid, DXF/DWG, and PDF drawings. STEP files are preferred for quoting accuracy. We can also work from physical samples for reverse engineering projects.
We are ISO 9001:2015 certified with procedures aligned to AS9100 for aerospace work. We maintain full material traceability, provide Certificates of Conformance, and offer FAIR (First Article Inspection Reports) on request.
