Frequently Asked Questions

Everything parents want to know about our gymnastics programs

We offer classes starting at age 2! Our parent-and-me classes (ages 2-3) and preschool gymnastics (ages 3-5) are perfect for introducing young children to movement and basic gymnastics. For formal gymnastics training, ages 5-6 are ideal, but we welcome beginners of all ages. It's never too late to start!
Absolutely! The majority of our students are in our recreational program. These classes focus on learning gymnastics skills, building fitness and flexibility, and having fun—with zero competitive pressure. Students progress at their own pace and can participate for years without ever competing.
Girls should wear a fitted leotard (any style) with hair pulled back securely. Boys should wear fitted athletic shorts or gymnastics shorts with a t-shirt. No jewelry, no socks—bare feet only. We recommend keeping long hair in a bun or braid to prevent interference during skills. We have a pro shop on-site if you need to purchase gymnastics attire.
Our competitive program follows USAG (USA Gymnastics) guidelines with teams at levels 1-10. Gymnasts are evaluated and invited to join teams based on skill level and commitment. Team members train 6-20 hours per week depending on level and compete in 4-8 meets per season. We provide a complete path from beginner team through elite-level competition.
Safety is our absolute top priority. All our coaches are USAG safety certified and background checked. We maintain strict student-to-coach ratios, use professional-grade equipment with safety features, have foam pits for learning new skills, and follow rigorous spotting protocols. Our facility is regularly inspected and we carry comprehensive insurance. We also teach proper progressions—students master fundamentals before advancing to complex skills.
Yes! We have a comfortable viewing area where parents can watch classes. For our youngest students (ages 2-4), we find they focus better after the first few weeks when parents aren't visible, but you're always welcome to watch on our monitors in the lobby. For all other classes, parents are encouraged to watch and we love seeing your support!
