Conceptualization
Every sculpture begins with an idea, often inspired by nature, human emotion, or philosophical concepts. I spend weeks sketching and refining the vision.
Clay Modeling
I create detailed clay models at various scales, exploring form, proportion, and movement. This hands-on process allows me to feel the sculpture taking shape.
Material Selection
Choosing the right material is crucial. Bronze offers fluidity and permanence, while stone provides gravitas and texture. Each piece demands its perfect medium.
Casting & Carving
Working with master craftsmen, I oversee the casting process for bronze works or personally carve stone pieces, ensuring every detail meets my artistic vision.
Patination & Finishing
The final stage involves applying patinas to bronze or polishing stone to achieve the desired surface quality. This is where the sculpture truly comes alive.
Installation
Whether destined for a gallery, public space, or private collection, proper installation is essential. I personally oversee placement to ensure optimal presentation.
