Everything you need to know about our classes and studio
Do I need any prior experience?
Not at all! Our beginner classes are designed for absolute novices. We'll teach you everything from how to thread a needle to completing your first garment. Many of our successful students had never touched a sewing machine before their first class.
What equipment do I need to bring?
Nothing for your first class! We provide all equipment, materials, and fabrics. If you decide to continue, we'll provide a recommended supply list, but you're welcome to use our studio equipment for all classes.
Can I make up missed classes?
Yes! We offer flexible makeup sessions. You can attend the same class in a different time slot or schedule a private 30-minute session with an instructor. We want to ensure you don't fall behind.
What's your refund policy?
We offer a 100% money-back guarantee after your first class if you're not completely satisfied. After that, we provide prorated refunds up to the 3rd session of any course.
Are fabrics and materials included?
Yes! All basic fabrics, patterns, threads, and materials are included in your course fee. For advanced classes, you may want to purchase premium fabrics, which we can help you source at wholesale prices.
Can I take classes if I'm left-handed?
Absolutely! We have left-handed sewing machines and scissors available. Our instructors are experienced in teaching both right and left-handed students.
What's the age requirement?
Most classes are for ages 16+. We offer special Kids & Teens classes (ages 10-15) on weekends. Adult classes welcome all ages - our oldest student is 78!
Do you offer private lessons?
Yes! Private one-on-one sessions are available at $80/hour. Perfect for working on specific projects or accelerated learning. Gift certificates available!
