What Our Guests Say

Hear from skiers and families who have experienced the magic of Summit Peak Resort.

Summit Peak is our family's annual tradition. The kids' ski school is outstanding — our 5-year-old went from pizza wedge to parallel turns in three days. The lodge is pure luxury.

Annual Visitors

As an expert skier, I'm picky about my resorts. Summit Peak's backcountry terrain and heli-skiing options are world-class. The powder days here rival anything in the Alps.

FAQ

Mountain Questions Answered

Everything you need to know about planning your Summit Peak Resort getaway.

Our season generally runs from late November through mid-April, with peak conditions December through March. We open additional terrain as snow coverage allows and our snowmaking systems ensure reliable coverage even in low-snow years. Holiday periods and February typically offer the best overall conditions.
Absolutely! Our beginner program is one of the best in the industry. First-time skiers and snowboarders get access to dedicated learning terrain, patient certified instructors, and a guaranteed 'learn to turn' promise. Group lessons start at $89/day and include equipment rental. Private lessons are available for faster progression.
We have 12 dining venues ranging from quick-service slope-side cafeterias to our award-winning Summit House fine dining restaurant. Options include a craft brewpub, Italian trattoria, sushi bar, and family-style American grill. Most restaurants accept reservations, and we offer dietary accommodation for allergies and preferences.
Yes, we offer complimentary shuttle service from the regional airport (45 minutes) with pickups every 2 hours during peak season. Private car service and helicopter transfers are also available for premium guests. We recommend booking shuttle reservations at least 48 hours in advance during holidays.
Beyond skiing, guests enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, sleigh rides, tubing, and fat-tire biking. Our spa and wellness center offers full-service treatments. The resort village features boutique shopping, art galleries, and a cinema. Winter festivals and live music events run throughout the season.
Standard reservations can be cancelled up to 14 days before arrival for a full refund. Cancellations 7-13 days out receive a 50% refund or full resort credit. Holiday period bookings require 30 days notice. We offer cancellation protection insurance at booking for $50 that covers any-reason cancellation up to 24 hours before check-in.
