Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) for optimal waxing results. This typically means 2-3 weeks of growth after shaving. If you're unsure, our technicians can assess during your consultation.

While waxing does involve some discomfort, our experienced technicians use techniques to minimize pain. We use premium low-temperature wax, work quickly and efficiently, and can apply numbing cream if needed. Most clients find it much less painful than expected, and it gets easier with regular visits.

Results typically last 3-6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and the area waxed. With regular waxing, hair grows back finer and sparser, often extending the time between appointments. Many clients find they can go 4-6 weeks between sessions after consistent waxing.

Exfoliate gently 24 hours before, avoid sun exposure and tanning for 48 hours prior, don't apply lotions or oils on the day of your appointment, and wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Avoid caffeine and alcohol beforehand as they can increase sensitivity.

Yes, but we recommend scheduling around your cycle if possible as skin can be more sensitive during menstruation. If you must book during your period, please wear a fresh tampon or menstrual cup. We understand bodies don't always cooperate with schedules!

Exfoliate regularly (but gently) starting 48 hours after waxing, moisturize daily with non-comedogenic products, wear loose clothing, and avoid touching the waxed area. We also offer specialized ingrown hair treatments and can recommend products designed to prevent them.

For 24-48 hours after waxing, avoid: hot baths, saunas, and steam rooms; direct sun exposure and tanning; tight clothing; swimming in chlorinated pools; heavy exercise that causes excessive sweating; and any harsh skincare products. We provide detailed aftercare instructions after each service.
